June 10, 2002, Saddle Brook, NJ - Yamner & Co., Inc. today announced the production release of its NetExchange Client trading platform, allowing clients to enter equity, option and mutual fund transactions from the internet using a standard web browser. The NetExchange trading functionality ties directly into the widely-utilized NetExchange site currently used by many Yamner & Co., Inc. clients to view transactions, balances and money line positions.
"The Net Exchange online HTML-based order entry platform is going to be a great tool for many of our clients that have more simplistic order flow. While a vast majority of our clients are still best served utilizing our Tier One trading desk via other communication technologies, many will come to greatly appreciate the simplicity and outstanding performance of the NetExchange Client systems", states Steve Goldman, Chief Executive Officer. "In addition to the NetExchange, we are currently near-production with several other order routing systems for those who want something to complete their direct access to our trading desks."
The NetExchange technology is part of the service offering provided to Yamner & Co., Inc. by its clearing firm, Pershing, a division of CFSB. Pershing has several hundred brokerage firms utilizing similar technologies and has proven a reliable and high-performance technology.
